H2H,
I was refering to the lead guitar, sounds really good, just thought it was a little low.

Don't get me wrong about the piano either, the performance was stellar,I was refering to a more rock sound.

Wow,somebodys going to record it pro, that's awsome!
I hope you make millions, just don't forget us little guy's.

When it comes out let everyone know so we can buy it!

Good luck,
Pete

In the REAL world, I am 1/2 of a musical duo where my other half is a female vocalist. If we were to do this song, she would definately provied additional vocals. The vocals were just 1 take, no punches or comping tracks, like we would do it if it were hitting an album. I would just go back and punch the rough parts, which I may do eventually just for fun.
I do alot of writing for other people outside of my own musical efforts (you have probably heard of some people I am working with, and some others you may know of in the future). My group plays to the contemporary Christian market, but I write mainstream pop tunes outside of the work I perform myself. It helps things move along, and keep a little extra $ flowing. Also, it helps be to be creative in diverse genres of music.

Thanks for the comments. Realisticlly, it will probably be a good regional song for the artist who wants to do it. My actual CD will be out by June at the latest, just waiting for the mastering schedule now!

Thanks for listening!

you mean you make money writing music for other people? very cool gig. i'm envious.

didn't mean to jump on your vocals too hard. i understand it's not a master copy and getting that stuff right takes a lot of time and energy. best of luck.

Interesting...!

Very nice song H2H. The recording sounds real good, and great voice. I like the piano, and the drums may be the best I've heard from a machine. Actually (nearly) fooled me. The snare is pretty realistic sounding. I'm not really a fan of the POD. The lead bits are alright, but the rhythm ones, there's something about them...How'd you record the bass? Real nice and deep.

Great job!

yes, macle. Now you see why your work interests me so much :)

The bass is a Fender Jazz through the "tube preamp" setting on the Pod. Fooled ya again!:) Thanks for the input, I enjoy hearing your take, since I really like your music.

Thanks for listening!

Hey H2h!

Gave it a whirl...

Having jammed with you, I already know you can play the guitar jess fine!

You sounded a bit too laid back in the delivery of the lyrics for me.
I guess I like the Meatloaf way of delivering a big line!

The guitars sounded nice, kind of rock, kind of country, but in no way Donny & Marie..

Beef up the vocals, deliver the lyrics with more chutzpah (!),
and leave the guitar work alone, and it will improve an already good tune in my book.

:D
