so i'm putting my record player, through to my reciever, then to my computer...(delta 44).

my reciever has 2 different phono inputs though - a low, and high...which one should i use? (both are rca/phono jacks, and both have a L/R, and there is a seperate spot for the ground of course).

Thank ya.

It depends on the output of the turn-table. Try low first and if you can't get enough gain, go for hi.

It could be for impedance, but I think its more likely for output level.

How old is your receiver? If it's from the late 70s or later, they are probably for Moving Magnet vs Moving Coil cartridges. If it's from the late-60s or earlier, they are probably for Ceramic vs. Magnetic cartridges.

But just use whatever sounds best.
