Record drum machine with Cubase LE5

Hi,

I have a Tascam US144-MKII and Cubase LE5. I am trying to find a drum machine plugin to use. I'd like to have one with sequencers that allow you to change patterns in real time, use the loops as a metronome during recording, and record the loops as separate tracks.

I've tried VSTs like Cerebrum, which gives me pretty much everything I need during recording, but it doesn't let me record the loops as permanent tracks for my projects. Is there a drum machine that lets me do this? Is it even possible with Cubase LE5?

I think I've tried that one before, but I ran into the same problem as with Cerebrum, where the LE version of Cubase won't let me record the drum track. Do you know how to do that in Cubase LE?
 
Hello,

Due to the limited routing capabilities of Cubase LE 5 the only solution will be to do an audio export of your drum loop and then import it back again into Cubase.
