holy shit!

I thought for sure they would put a RNEQ and complete the channel...that looks sweet!

We've had an RNLA prototype here for several months and it's amazing. More when Mark tells me it's ok to mention more of the details.

harvey, i can't wait to hear more. i had no idea they had this in the pipeline. please post when you can. :D

i might have to be on the bandwagon ahead of time here, especially if that price over on Humbucker is correct.....are these things out yet? or is Jake just jumping the gun?

cheers,
wade

I've already got my RNLA reserved. Can't wait! Word is the middle of August, hope that works out to be true.

Jake jumped the gun a little, but yes, it should start shipping around the middle of August, and the price is indeed $225. Here's the "quick start" manual that Mark just sent me:

Now you hafta remember that while Mark is a brilliant audio design engineer, his humor is very quirky, and a lot of people don't like the fact that he has fun with the products he designs. For example, the Attack and Release Controls go to 11, not 10.

His releasing it so suddenly caught me by surprise, but I'll try to write up some observations when I get a chance.

Bottom line: like all the rest of Mark's stuff, it's a no-brainer; at $225 each, get two - or more. You can thank me later.

and such a blatant Spinal Tap reference only makes me want to do MORE business with him. ;)

as if this needs saying.....whenever you get a chance and don't sweat it. i know i speak for many who'd love to hear your thoughts on it.

No disrespect intended, but I got the go ahead to put them on my site on Monday. :) As far as shipping goes, some dealers will have them a little bit sooner. Even by the end of this week. People should check with their local dealer about when they'll have them.

I think Mark was wanting to hold off on announcing the RNLA until they had them in their hands ready to go. Some people kind of got funky about the RNP being vaporware for so long, when actually FMR never even advertised it until the first shipment. I think some people caught wind of the RNP during it's beta testing period and ran with it before Mark & Beth were ready. I'm thinking they may have wanted to keep that from happening this time.

You have to hand it to them... It takes alot of guts to wait until a product is shipping before announcing it. Hardly no one else does that in this industry.
