I'm looking for a quality, user friendly computor base wave editor.
I have seen a few, and I wanted to get possible recommandations of wave editors I could look into.

check the demo of "Sound Forge" ... I simply love that program

Ditto on C9-2001's picks. Wavelab or Sound Forge (I haven't used CE Pro).

My personal favorite is Wavelab; but the Wave Hammer in SF is almost worth the price of admission by itself. Also, I think SF is cheaper. I don't think you'd go too far wrong with either one.

I've used all the editors mentioned quite a bit and SoundForge 5 is by far my favorite.

wavelab is crazy-powerful, but has a steep learning curve. SF is a close second IMHO, but it is far more intuitive than wavlab.

Thanks for the feed-back

Just wanted to thank all of you for sending me the information I need to select a quality wave editor.
