hi,
i am planning to do demo recording with my band and need some advice:
planning to get a Delta1010lt with 8 RCA-In , the place we practice at has a Yorkville AP812 powered mixer.I would like to multi-track the drums 6-8 channels straight into CubaseSX ,the mixer only has tape-outs.
My question is ,should(could) I just send the mic signal straight into the Delta1010? with an XLR(F)-RCA 8ch snake?
are powered mixers good for recording? wich ones have 8+ channels to send to a recorder?
I would like to avoid getting a mixer since Cubase has one , my only concern is getting separate channels into it to be mixed later in the software.
thanks
