You dont know me but in person I am 235 pounds 5:11 and I dont take shit.

I have been all over this friggen country and lived in the worst parts of it. I have had to come up this way.

Now my respect is quickly vanishing for some here and I am leaving as soon as you guys let this thread die. So let it fucking die. The deal is over. and I am moving on. Maybe some of you should listen to my music because I am actually good.

There are 4 songs on that site in my thread there should be 1 that anyone could like. I mean there is a bluesy one , there is even kind of a heavy boogie one.

I actually play the God Damned guitar. You know what I mean. I may not be a great singer but I sing in key WAY better then I hear from many people. I play bass well. And I can program drum parts pretty damn good.

Take some advise. There are other people like me out there. Other musicians. Crazy ones. Guys that dont take shit. You push ther wrong button on one of them It might be your last. Take that for what it is worth.

these guys just better be glad that they dont have to see or hear from me again.

Go listen to the music before you have the nerve to tell me I suck. fucking fool

It's actually probably good, because you seem really passionate about it.

I didn't realize you drove all the way over there by appointment after they told you it would be done. That really sucks, and if I were you, I would try and contact this guy and let him know his assistants are a bunch of schlups who are costing him business by their peabrained attitude.

Still ... you got your stuff. You like the job he did. Some things happened that were a hassle / pain in the ass for you, but it was good, and it didn't cost you an arm and a leg. Ultimately, I think you did okay. You don't have to go back to the guy if you don't like the way he does things.

I don't like when people bad-mouth mastering houses, engineers, studios, etc. on a public forum.

Especially when they're not here to defend themselves.

We're only getting one side of the story, and I'm sorry but it just bugs me. I didn't even listened to the guy's music, for cryin' out loud, so I was talkin' outta' my ass. :D

I dont want to continue posting here since that dumb ass chessrok has screwed everything up and then some just followed right along.

The studio is fucking called "Vision Sound" in Orange Park. If you had read I said it way back in like my 3rd or 4th post in this thread. I recorded my own music and took it there to be mastered. I hate fucking jacksonville and the lame ass excuses for musicians here. Granted I know all the good ones and there are trully some fabulous players here. One of them is ME.

Screw this. that should answer all your questions pertaining to this thread. If youd like call the fucking cell phone of the guy. oh but beware you might be lectured that "email is the preferred form of communication for them".

Now can you people let this thread drift away.................................
 
Hmmm ... it's not cool that you didn't get your stuff as you'd hoped, but Chessrock is basically right on this one, although he doesn't put it across in the least abrasive way! :D Basically, if you weren't happy then don't do business with them again.

Glad you feel you can describe yourself as 'trully fabulous' [sic], at least it hasn't dented your self-confidence. :D
 
Well i certainly agree that Chessrocks post was pretty out of line, your own responses too were way out of whack. All they have served to do is to make your other statements suspect based on your current attitude. I do think you were treated poorly, and that you should never go back to that place. My clients all get treated the same no matter how much or how little they are paying me. If I am bogged down by clients who are paying less, than that is my fault for commiting to the job. Not my clients fault who may not be paying as much as another client. I work on a very personal basis with my clients. But all the extra attitude on both parts is just absolutely silly and unfounded. It ruins both parties reputations in my mind.
 
Nrb. You've got to admit Chessrock had some good points there. I listened to your tunes and they're ok. I don't think anyone was aiming to take a stab at you personally. The simple fact is, you get what you pay for. I bet if you could have given the guy a week or so to work on your tunes he would have done a great job. You said your self he was doing it on his spare time. Well if he works hard, he may not have a lot of spare time. If you pay minimum for a job and go in pushing for your product after a couple of days, what kind of response do you think you're gonna get?
 
hey i know about that place...always thought the young looking kid mixed his stuff way too bass heavy...i had a feeling thats where you were talking about.
