I Have Reason/ Maudio Ozone. How Can I Record Guitar Bass Or Vocals To Reason. Or Do I Have To Use Another Prgrm For Recording?????????????????????????BACKLINE67@MSN.COM

well...reason is a sequencer software...not a recorder...u have to use ne recording software to record ur guitar..

Yes, but it's easy to do because of a feature built into Reason called 'ReWire'.

I use Tracktion as the ReWire host and record audio tracks into that, then ReWire Reason to take advantage of it's HUGE capabilities and luverly sounds.

Here's a link to Tracktion -

You can download the demo version which is fully functional for two weeks and see if you like it as much as I do. If you do it'll set you back $80 to buy a copy of your own

Here's what I do...

Hi all,

Here's how I do it: I first fiddle with Reason and get the sounds I want, then I dump it all into my Korg D1600. Then I playback on the Korg and record the guitar or bass or whatever. I'm going S/P DIF on the transfers so there is no loss in quality.

Anyway, my friend is set up on Pro Tools and he uses Reason rewired to Pro Tools. It seems kinda hard doing it that way, but then again that's just me. I'm too used to working with my Korg. I still like using actual pieces of gear whenever possible.
