Whasup yall. I had to rearrange my studio today to get some "inspiration". I don't know about yall, but after i'm in the same enviroment for a long time, i have to switch it up to get a new drive to make music. Well i gotta say, i really like it. I put some studio foam up in the my room in diamond patterns and it looks cool plus made the room sound a whole lot better. I used to have the foam in my closet booth, which i disassembled. I also went to the church and picked up the triton to use for the weekend. I was playing with some stuff right before i came to work. I can't wait to get home. Imma be up late tonight!! Holla at yo boy!

It's always good to fix up the studio. And after awhile you see what works and what doen't.

Give me some pics... :D

I need a camera man. I could take pics with a webcam, but they are gonna suck bad!!! I'll see if i can make em look decent enough to be visible.

I agree with changing up the room every now and then. I usually don't do it in the studio though, but I do it with the bedroom, living room, etc. It's a bitch sometimes. I have a grand scheme on how the studio will look when I get it cleaned up and best believe there will be pics.

One question for all of ya'll though...I see too many rooms with just foam and white (or whatever color) walls (and of course the lava lamp). Anybody have any decorations on the walls like album posters (your own or artists you're feeling or just like the look of the poster)? I mean I could see why you wouldn't wanna use pictures with frames or something but yanno any posters or maybe even self created graffiti...anything that adds more color to the room outside of the foam you're using?

cant wait untill i get a spot where i can build a real studio..... for now my studio is where ever my computer, mic, and now my keyboard is at.......

i wouldnt mind seein some pix either

Tried to take pics with my webcam but they were horrendous! I couldn't get a clear shot of everything because of how bad it sucks. Don't they make disposable digital cameras where you get a cd back with your pictures on it? Imma check walmart. Hopefully they aren't expensive. My setup is no where near "pro" but it's alright, and i'm thankful for it. I'm definetely sure yall have bigger setups than me!

Ya, I've been collecting gold/ platinum records lately to put in the hall. I just got the LL Cool J "Radio" original gold record. Nice history... I like having music history in the studio. Nice conversation piece.

Eventually, I'm debating on having a good size Hammerback Records banner made to hang on the wall right behind my computers and setup. Each album I make, I'll do a poster of it and hang them in the room or the halls, whatever the wife will let Fiev get away with.

Right now I have a nice picture of Central Park (the one that lights up and has motion like the waterfall pictures. Wife did a good job on picking that up. It's relaxing and helps when creating new tracks.

Ya, that's a good idea. I also made small photo plaques of each artist of I've produced... Shows your work...
