Anybody with Sonar want to help me out? I'm treating my control room and would really appreciate it if anybody with Sonar could convert the RealTraps Sonar file that plays sine waves of every frequnecy from 40-300 Hz to a wave file. Thanks a lot.

Even better, just download our test tone "CD" here:

I could do it for you if the link Ethan just gave you doesn't work out for you. :) which... it should.

Mr. Winer, I appreciate the link but I have already downloaded the test CD. I am more interested in running the same type of Sonar test only in a different software program (n-track).

Sonic Clang, I would very much appreciate it if you could turn it into a wave file if that isn't a problem. Thanks a lot.

Ethan, would you have a problem with me doing that for him? If not I'll upload it and give him the link.

Be careful with those test tones. Start out with your monitoring volume very low or you might end up damaging your speakers / amp. Also, check the specs of your speakers / amp to see what the useable frequency response is. There's no sense in using any frequencies that they were'nt designed to reproduce and if you do, you risk damaging your gear.

Start with it very low? Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't you supposed to use the pink noise that comes with the tones to get an initial level of 70 dB? Thanks for the warning about making sure to play the right tones though.

Because the low frequencies are tough on your speakers. First time I used this my speakers were rattling like crazy and I jumped at the volume control to turn it down.

Here. http://sonicclang.ringdev.com/music/response.wav Let me know if this didn't work. I just went through a massive control room re-setup and my speakers aren't hooked up yet.

Of course not. But maybe I should have been clearer. Once you have the MP3 files from my test tone "CD" can't you just import them into n-track?

That's what I thought you were saying, but I didn't look at the link you posted for him. Whatever, it wasn't a big deal for me to do it, as long as it worked. I still don't have my speakers hooked up so I don't even know if it turned out... :)

I was going to try to do that, but then my test would be about 47 minutes instead of 240 seconds. :D
