Real Player not working with windows

Hi everyone. I can't seem to get windows 98 to play RA player. I just installed a PCI-324 sound card, and RA keeps telling me that 'there may be something else running at the same time preventing it' but i cant seem to find anything wrong. Has anyone had this problem?

Unfortunately, the only time I've seen that message (when there wasn't something else actually playing) is on my wife's computer, and even I haven't been able to get the sound card running on that one. I'd make sure you have the newest drivers for your card, and if so, remove the card (physically, after turning off the power and all that good stuff), reboot, then reinstall it again.
