Hello, all

I hope this is not considered double posting since I've just posted the same link in the other thread, but that thread is more detailed with how to fix this track...

Anyway, it would be really great if I can get some quick opinions about this drum sound I've got here. It was very poorly tracked, and I am trying to fix it at the moment.

Can you hear the kick ok? are the rides too loud?

Thanks a million

The snare sounds a LITTLE dull; might want to give it a bit more snap with a tighter head or something. Hat seems okay.

Ride cymbal stands out a slight bit too much for me. Bass seems okay. Toms a bit prominent, but not too bad. Compress the whole thing a bit, and it would probably be okay.

Overall a really nice sound. Nice tune. Did John come back from the dead and collaborate with Yoko again?

P.S. Ahhh, an Indiana boy. Just noticed. I'm a Gary/Valpo native, now in E'ville. Good to see there are others from our fine state who do this s**t. :-)

pretty nice sounding kit. I didnt hear enough of it until the 8th bar started, with the attack on the piano on the first downbeat at that level it robs the kick a little. It shows up pretty nice and when the singing comes in. Cymbals sound nice and smooth but a bit strong.

the bass drum sounds low in relation to the cymbals and snare, and the cymbal crashes would probably be too loud..
