Just to point out, all of this is purely for the convenience of seeing the words in real time.
I can see why that's desirable, but personally I'd just import the stereo wav into reaper and set up a new track to record your vocals along side the backing.
Print the words on a sheet of paper or keep them on screen and save yourself a lot of hassle.
That would mean you need an interface with one mic preamp and that's that.
Just my preference.
