Greetings Homerecorders,

A bit of a repost here. I'm a new recording enthusiast, looking for some help/feedback on my bands mixes. It's one of those mysteries of life you see! Gettin' people to listen to ya for the first time! I'll try my damnest to listen to your stuff if ya listen to mine. I know....I know.... everybody wants to be kissed, but no one want's to do the kissin'! I promise I'll listen to ya also! Pucker up...

But down to business, friends have really liked our tunes, but the mixes have a certain "dull" or somewhat "muddy" quality from what I can tell. I'd really appreciate some feedback on what I should do to possibly aleviate this, or what frequencies/instruments seem to mud it up. I haven't really mastered any of these tunes, and am wondering whether I should remix this, or if this is something that should be handled in the mastering process. Having been in the entire writing/recording/mixing/producing process, I've listened to these so many times, that I can't tell what needs to be done. My ears are a fatigued from it, so some fresh unbiased opinions are needed. TAKE ME TO THE CLEANERS!

3 mp3s can be found here in the audio section of our EPK website, thanx!
