Rate my First attempt!!!

Hi all.

I normally stick to the keys when making music...however I picked up a lovely DeArmond Pilot Pro Bass on a CRAZY CHEAP closeout special, kinda figured out how to pluck and this is what came out. I was really curious to see how hard it would be to plug the bass directly into my Aardvark Direct Pro 24/96 and record right into the computer using Cakewalk. It was pretty easy, but I warn you now. I AM A NEWBIE...I'm having ONE HELL OF A TIME adjusting Audio levels on individual tracks to make a nice happy blend. So...bear with me...and vote. Thanks all. You're response is part of a lifetime musical learning experience.

Suffice it to say, keep practicing, especially, and most importantly the rudiments of the instrument, because it honestly sounds like you just picked up the base.

You are correct. I DID just pick up the bass!!! And I practice daily...I am watching videos and reading books and listening to tapes...Thank you for taking the time out to take a listen and provide advice.
