Unfortunately, I'm not downloading any link from a file sharing site I do not know, so sorry DrumR, I didn't give a listen.

Well in case you didn't want to miss out on having your ears bleed:

Pretty cool. Just so anyone doing mixes in the future doesn't get insulted, I can't see myself having the time and energy to listen to every mix. I'm already sick of the song as it is. But, it doesn't matter, because this isn't about me "judging" mixes, etc....

The mixes I did listen to so far sound pretty cool.

Off the top of my head:

PrHun's less smashed version sounds cool, but I think the bass is too low.

Chili's mix is good, though I think the kick could come up.

Jimmy, you sure you loaded the right file for your mix? Sounds exactly like mine.

Steen, nice mix. I think you thinned out the snare, though, and maybe a little more click on the kik drum would be good. You also left out the distorted vocal track. It has a lead role after the chourses.

DrumRookie. You seem to have panned everything up the middle, and then re-amped it in a tunnel.

I'm obviously basing everything I'm saying on the fact that I'm used to hearing it my way over 1,000 times. So these are just observations based on what my ears and brain are used to hearing. Nobody did anything that sounds bad (well, almost nobody but I'll keep that to myself :) )

the only thing I could do to improve a RAMI mix would be to add some sax to it which he always seems to be inexplicably missing.

Nail on head.
All were intentional though.

I'd say the difference probably isn't preference. It's probably down to listening environment.(I have no treatment out here)

I prefer 'my' kick and snare to yours as I hear it, but I don't imagine I would at your house.

Cheers for listening, Rami, and for sharing.

Ok good. I wanted to add, before you responded, that I'm only mentioning the lack of the distorted vocal part in case you weren't aware that it does more than just sing the chorus with the other vocals. Other than that, it's all about everyone's own mixing decisions.

That's friggen funny! Yeah, I had a few beers, and posted the wrong s**t. I should be flogged....

LOL. Even if I wanted to I couldn't.

Apparently I gota spread some rep first.

Dammit! Where is my flogging? Any other member reading this, Neg my ass please.

That did not sound right....

Seriously, neg rep me now!!!!

Never. I was going to say that your mix was my favorite had you not ripped me off. :D

I was grooving to your mix, saying to myself "Now that's how I'd mix it if I was me". Then, half way through, I realized that I WAS me and that was MY mix.

I can't listen to your real version right now. I'll check it out later.

I was a bit buzzed, and got kinda verb happy, and a bit strong with the doubler on the chorus. But I have to stick with what I did. Keepin it real yo! lol!

Again, somebody neg rep me now so I can sleep at night...
