Rack equipment wiring question

Not sure to post here or "The Rack". Say you have a Deltalab Delay unit, it's mono. Can I get away with using 2 conductor shielded cable and use 1 conductor for the input, the other for out? The cable I'm using is Belden 8451 2 conductor shielded, the signals are line level and the cable is about 15 feet long. Could cross talk/conductor interaction/RFI and other fun stuff come into play?

Yes you can. What you describe is pretty close to what is done with 'Y' insert cables.
