[Crackers]

Im starting to look for a condenser mic that is around 200 dollors. I keep coming back to the Rode nt1a. Is this a good choice, or is their something better out thier for 200.

It depends on what you want to use it for. I have a NT-1A, and while it's a very sensitive mic, and has very low self-noise, it's kind of bright and probably not suited to all applications. I've used it to record acoustic with some nice results. I've also been thinking of using it as an ambient room mic, but haven't done so yet.

I had a chance to open the mic RODE NT1-A, a same capsule as SP C1 is inside, the electric are almost the same.
SP C1 is heavy. Maybe SP C1 can be better.
