Quiet Powersupply

for a computer?
if you're looking to build a computer...and need a case, look at Antec's stuff. I've been happy with their case/powersupply bundles
They make power supplies only too
 
I have an NZXT case and power supply. I can barely hear it right now and I have two of them runing:)
 
The Antec Phantom is the quietest power supply out there. It can run in fanless mode, and the aluminum casing acts as a heat sink. Zero noise.
 
I have put Zalman PSUs in my two music computers and they are very quiet
 
How much are these power supplies? For anyone that has not checked out NZXT, I would reccomend you have a look. I have had a few of their cases now and now a power supply. Everything seems to be built well, but does not cost quite as much as a lot of the other options. When I wrote my last post I was sitting within 4 feet of two different NZXT cases with power supplies that were running and it was amazingly quiet. Especially considering that each case at least 4 fans in it that were also running.
 
i have a couple antec sonata cases

really quiet... great power supplies and the drives slide out towards you on rails

easy to work inside
