Is it okay to use 'Rosin Core' solder on cables/connectors? It's all I have left til i take a trip to the store. thank you

Should be fine unless your using that $100.00 per foot pure silver twisted pair magnet wire with the $50.00 gold connectors.

In that case I say wait 'till tomorrow.:D

Isn't rosin core ALL you would use? Maybe silver solder but NEVER acid core and solid core is a pain.

Yup. Repeat after me: "Acid core is for _plumbing_, rosin core is for electronics"....

It's not just a good idea: it's the law! (;-)
