Quick Idiotic Question from A Dumkoff

Ugh.
I am trying to figure out how to wire a cable that will run from the "insert" jack on my board, to the "in" and "out" of my compressor. It would have a 2-way male on the board and two single male jacks into the comp.

There must be a place on this site that has the answer, can anyone tell me what it is called so I can search for it?

I've tried "compressor loop", "compressor wiring", and even "daisy chain".

On the stereo jack side, the tip is the send and the ring is the return.

And the sleeve is the common ground.
