Quick help needed! How do I record direct from my Mesa Rec Head?

Hi, I am recording some clean songs tonight with my Mesa DUal Rec in a couple hours, I want to mic my recordings and at the same time record direct, but in the back of my Mesa head theres nothing that directly says "input" and in the front theres only 1 input for the guitar. In the back I do have the following -

Slave out (to power amp)

6 - 8 - 12 OHMS

FX loop send and return

Channel 1 - 2 - 3 - Solo - Loop (for external switching)
______________________________________________


Can anyone help me out on how I can go direct without a splitter for the input in the front?

i have a bass sansamp direct DI, would that work? were would i hook the direct box up to so i could also record mic'd?

theres no other alternatives to hook up direct, youd think in such a damn expensive head theyd have a another input, if not, thats totally gay,
