Well, hello there I'm new to this forum and recording stuff 
Anyways... I'm thinking about getting the following equipment for christmas:
Tascam US-144mkII
Shure sm57
MXLV63M condenser microphone
And im not sure if i should get the ART Tube MP Preamp since the tascam already has 48v phantom power.
Is the Tascam US-144 mkII compatible with snow leopard and logic express 7?
Thing is i've been reading that it isnt very compatible with snow leopard and stuff but then on youtube ive been watching people recording stuff with it on logic and im not sure what to think
And also should i get the preamp or just stick with the audio interface's phantom power im just gonna use the mic to record vocals and guitar and bass amps but its kinda gonna be a bit far from the amp the sm57 is gonna be taking the full hits.
