Digitech Vocalist WorkstationEX is somethin i'm lookin at. I'm probably going to buy it. I can't try it out, cause i'm gettin it online, and the bidding is almost done. Tell me, is it a good pedal for vocals?

Hah....

"good pedal for vocals"

Dude, pedals are for guitars, keyboards, kick drums, organs, and probably other stuff, but not vocals. Unless you're after a vocoder, don't buy any pedal for serious vocal processing.

ive played with one that was set up as a demo at a music store, it was a total joke.

oh yeah

If you really want advice on something it might be helpful to ask for it BEFORE you are about to win it. For your sake I hope somebody out-bid you.

As a live sound engineer when I first heard that they were making FX pedals for vocalists I screamed in horror for an hour straight all the while ripping my hair out, I went insane for about a week.
Really, I think it's a VERY bad idea, we already have enough problems with guitarists who can't program their processors and end up with horrible tones, adding vocalists to the list would be a nightmare.

on top of that the processor itself sucks, I think an engineer would have a hard time getting a good sound out of it off stage, much less a singer on stage.

BTW vox, what the hell is that avater suposed to be????

As an experienced vocalist who often gigs with no sound guy, I haave gotten in the habbet of controlling all my vocal effects myself. I manually adjust delay times from song to song (cause I'm anal) and add a little flange and distortion now and again. I wish that someone would make a processor that could be programed for this sort of thing that does not suck and does not add unreasonable feedback and noise. They've been doing it for guitar for years, now it's time for the vocalist's!
