I have a TASCAM MS-16 and am having problems with a couple of intermittent channels.

I have tried swapping cards with known working cards and am still having problems.

I suspect there is a problem on the motherboard that they are connected to in the amp unit.

Have you seen this problem before?

Cheers! :)

I would still think it is the FETs or relaises. They remember, age with time and also like to gamble.

I do not know the MS-16, but I guess that the mainboard is just copper wires and plugs, while all audio electronics is on the cards.

You mean the FETs on the individual channel cards?

From the schematics of the main board there seems to be more then just wire and plugs? I see a number of relays on that board too?

Thanks! :)

I'll do the scan now and send to you shortly!

Thanks again! :)
