This is how I understand.
Disc 1 contains purely Sonar stuff (with all the DXis, of course)
Disc 2 and 3 contains materials for Vsampler...
Disc 2 appears to have several demos from several sources. Disc 3. has Piano stuff and it seems to be a complete sample set.
Here's the problem I see.
The VSampler that comes with Sonar 3.0 is only a demo version and/or is "running in demonstration mode with limited functionality. To remove the restrictions you need to purchase the full version. Please check
www.vsampler.com for a list of VSampler-dealers and online-shops." <-- that's what you read on the screen when you open Vsampler. The full version for Sonar 3 user will cost you $55.
Since I have previous version of VSampler, I don't know how much I need to spend for the full version. But the current Vsampler 3. is a lot different (visually) from what I already have.
The registration for Sonar is not complecating. You just go to the web site and just register it.
But for VSampler, you need to do that challenge/response thingy. If you don't need to use VSampler then you don't need to worry about the registration process. I haven't done it yet myself but I've done that with other products in the past so it should be fine. Right now I'm runing Vsampler in Demo mode. It's running fine though. I don't know what the limitations are yet.
