Question about speakers?

I bought some speakers,I connected them to presonus audiobox usb,and they sound kind of low and have like static sounds,right now I found a better way instead of connect them to the main out,I connect one speaker to the other then connect one to the head phone port,it's a little better but is there any other way to make it way better without buying a amp.

So these speakers don"t have an amp in them or with them?? If the answer is that they don"t have an amp built into them or some other amp then you should know that "ALL" speakers need an amplifier of some sort , Interfaces don"t have them ......

You will need a set of speakers with amps built into them or a seperate amp , you would connect the amp or powered speakers into the Left/Right Ballanced TRS outputs on the back , you might need an adapter to connect from the Amp/Speakers into the interface .....
