Bow

3 Days Drunk
I have a pretty good collection of songs the a friend of mine and myself recorded on my 4-track [424] in '95-'96 whislt in the NAVY and consuming too much cognac...

But anyway...

What do I need to go from my 4-track to the home PC to record in MP3? I have the cables to go into the soundcard, I just need the software I guess.

Thanks

You need software to record the the wav file(s), and software to convert to mp3.

Something like http://www.goldwave.com for recording and editing your songs. Many mp3 convertor programs out there. Musicmatch, Blade. I don't which are the best, but some are better than others.

Some programs, like Steinberg Wavelab have editing/recording as well as special conversion to mp3 or other odd formats.

Thanks man...

I will have to look and see if my wife's MP3 player came with anything like that..it is a Creative Labs Nomad II...

It might have MusicMatch...
