I need to produce a demo so we have something to give out to bar owners to see what we sound like and I would like it to sound reasonably good.

On a good note our band recording computer took a dump - when I rebuilt it - I had to reset all the levels - both into the Aardvark and CuBase and it made a world of difference. Now when you play back the raw tracks they actually sound good and balanced - I haven't had a chance to attempt to mix any of it yet - but it already sounds 10 times better than the raw files I presented here.
I did patch some of the empty sections of the bass. Still, I know what you mean.Llarion said:Yeah, that'll happen... I tried to patch the empty parts, but it sounded obviously artificial, so I backed em out. The drums are easier to fix; sharper attacks and all. And I'm a vDrums player myself, so I understand the issues at hand...
Good deal on the new preset! Hope it works out for you!
