question about little labs red-eye.....

I wanted to use the Little Labs Red-Eye DI/Reamp tool as a splitter.... for tracking an amp and a DI at the same time..

Does anyone who of you who are using this know if a separate active DI is also required this,?

Not a struggle... plug the instrument into the DI... plug an XLR cable into the DI out, then run a 1/4" cable to the amplifier and you're good to go.

Great box the Redeye!! You can even use it as a 're-amp' thing down the road if you'd like.

I'll give it a go.. I was wondering that b/c the literature that came in box seemed to imply that a separate active DI was needed (I just got the box yesterday)...
