I will give feedback but at times I don't want to be over critical.If I like a style someone is displaying I'll say that but as far as sonically I feel I'm not all that qualified to tell someone what to do with their music.If its bumping in the club or banging in somebody's ride that's all that matters.I'll leave it up to some of the experts in here who have years of experience and learn from them along the way.I will give props when they are due but I won't be negative just for the hell of it.

I just got this thread as a link on my 1st post on this part of the BBS.
from someone that uses it as a standard response for people that post.
seen it a few times.. no names dont want a flame war.
Though it is a two way street if someone was posting all the time without ever comenting on the work that others post I would agree to be given the link.
what was said at the begining of this thread makes a lot os sense but.
But if this thread becomes a standard respose by people then, they are not doing the first timers any favers...to me its a great way to put anyone off when they post here for the first time.
or even wanting to comment or stick around here.No hard feeling toward the one that posted to my posting but thought I would mention it.

he does have a point. Being only a month old to this thread, i can confidently say that it is far easier to become active in this thread if it seems you can glean something out of it (and immediate rewards come on your first post). After this, I think most people realize that they now have the responsibilty to critique other people's work.
