got most of the kit down so far...at 58Kb/s...not bad. It's just gone 3am here so I'll stay up till I D/L everything then take a crack at it tomorrow.

Got it downloaded. Seems like there is a bit of distortion on the Bass and a bit of noise on the first keyboard part. Still a cool song though.

I'll give it a shot and hopefully have something by tomorrow night (Gotta go golfing tomorrow !)

This is a kick!!! I never had to deal w/ individual drum tracks before... I always use samples or an Alesis SR... I never knew how good I had it!!!

Once I get the drums subbed and EQ'd, I may be alright, but this is DEFINATELY a learning experience. I may edit the song a bit, and am hearing another guitar part. (This could become a week long Frankenstein, except I'm prepping for a new job starting week after next...)

I have to quit soon, and (hopefully) get back to it tomorrow.
I may miss the contest deadline, but I'll post anyway.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!! Can anyone help? I tried to play the tracks and get "File type unsupported or file is corrupted". I'm using n-track. I have a file format converter but they won't convert for the same reason. It's gotta be me somehow .

There HAS to be some kind of aif to wav converter out there.
if you cant find one lemme know and ill post it in Wav as well, but im not sure it will work because they are in 24/48.?!

Yeah, some others got them to work- that's why I figured it must be something at my end. I got an aif-wave converter at the n-track site. Don't worry about re-posting it if it's a pain, you've put in enough effort already. Thanks for doing it in the first place. I couldn't get them to play on any of my players, and most of them support .aif files. I'm kinda igerrant about some of this computer stuff. Did you convert your original files to aif or record them that way? I got n-track for my home rig because it was cheap and seemed decent. I work with someone who has digi 002 and have never had to do any troubleshooting. Guess it's time to get my feet wet. What platform are you using? *sigh* I'm betting on a headache by the end of the week.

yeah the bass, i pouded it hard through a art tube mp.
i like the distortion!

that is an air swirl effect on the keys1.
