Hi everyone! I'm new in here and...oh well. I don't want to write much about myself, I just registered in here because I want to show you my new own song, and I want to hear what do you think about it ;)

And here it is:

youtube.com/watch?v=8mE7CL8KbgE

PS. And for the clearance - because many people ask me about it, i guess because of my name and surname - "Are you Polish?" - Yep, I'm Polish, and I'm from Poznań :)

owww! I'd forget about to write it's some kind of Instromental Electro/Industrial Metal :) Write something about it, please :P

Mix sounds good! The best part is when the electronics kick in. It sounds mean and has awesome energy. In contrast, it makes the main riff/drum part sound a little bland. You might add some synth or something there to make those parts a little more colorful, but just my personal opinion.
Sounds great

Thanks! Maybe you're right with adding that synth. But for mow I'm working on a new track, and I'll surely use your advices :)
Thanks again :)

The thing is meant to have 2 parts to its personality - the differences make the tension & friction.
Good mix - I, personally, don't like the guitar tone as it's modern metal #1 generic but that's OK also.
It's a bit short though!

Korwa! This is a very interesting and creative way of mixing two genres. I also happen to enjoy dubstep lately and the mix with metal was a new flavour that I could not really predict would taste as good as it did. The low end sounds really really crunchy (in a good way, i love it). What kind of setup did you use for this? Also did you use software (like Reason) or hardware for the electronic bits? The reverse cymbal-effect makes me think about Reason for some reason.

ha europeans make the best metal and the best electronica...this love child is only the next logical conclusion. from a dude who loves vocals, this lyric-less song wasn't too bad

Thanks! OK, what setup i use. So let's get back to the start. Guitar - Epiphone G400 Custom, than amp - Marshall MG100HDFX, than trough the emulated headphones out, jack-jack cable, and we are in the microphone input of my standard sound card in my laptop. Now the software. For the recording I'm using Cubase 5. For the guitar distortion (because when I use distortion from the amp, or my multi-effect it sounds noisy and shitty) I'm using Guitar Rig 4. For the drums - Addictive Drums VST. For the bass - NI Massive VST. For the synths - it depends, but mostly I'm using Omnisphere, FM8, or Massive. Reverse Cymbal? I took it from Fruity Loops 9 XXL, reversed, and put some filters on it. Hmm...I guess it is all. Then there's only fun with mixing and mastering the whole song ;)
