PRS SE pickup suggestions

i just picked up an SE custom. wanted to stick some new pickups in it. I want the pickups to really compliment the wood that is used in these guitars, but don't know that much about that area of expertise. i've been partial to seymour duncan in the past, and like to play black metal, prog rock (ala rush, dream theater) and pop-rock. it's also a studio axe, so it has to clean up nicely at times...

body is made of a Mahogany back with maple top & flame maple veneer
neck is made of Mahogany with a rosewood fretboard.

ps. don't just throw suggestions out there. i need to know WHY the particular pickup would be suited for this guitar.

PRS introduced the SE to basically be a budget line of their CE series guitars. Those are loaded with either dragon II pickups or the others (for 24 fret models, can't think of the name off the top of my head). Both sets are made to be as versatile as possible. I love the pickups in mine. I would try to pick up a set from PRS. You might be able to get a cheap set on ebay or something.
