proper equipment usage

Hello, I am new to the forum. Lots of great info here. I have just started gathering a few pieces of equipment together to enhance my broadcasting audio. So far I have:

Presonus Tube Mic-Pre Amp
Behringer SU9920 Sound Processor

Still shopping for a condensor mic and a EQ. I am looking at inexpensive Behringer 9 band EQ.

I fool around with amateur radio, podcasts, voiceover. I am interested in all aspects of audio recording and mixing. I was wondering if someone could comment on my cheap outboard equipment. I sometimes wonder if I should go with a Mbox and use Pro Tools.

in my opinion, if your looking to record just one track of audio at a time and edit audio then you cant go wrong with a m box mini and pro tools

I will probably end up using Pro Tools. I will fool around with hardware first. Thanks for your input I Play Bass !!
