I'm into programming drums at the moment, and need some advice. I'm moving to a different city to study, and i have no place for my drums, unfortunately.
First, i love Beatcraft for it's easy layout and the possibility to make patterns, play them and store them, naming them for easy access later. But you can't export the patterns to MIDI, so that means i'm back to the start, because i don't really care for the sounds (want to use ez/superior drummer etc.).
So, my question is; is there a similar program which will do the same thing for me?
Even better would be if there was a plugin who did the same thing, and could be brought up in a DAW (i'm using Pro Tools atm.) together with EZ drummer etc., and then be able to create, play back and store those from inside the DAW.
So, is there something out there which will suit my needs? I was unable to find anything by searching.
