The sound and song reminds me of a lot of concerts I attended in the '70. A very open, free sound. I like! Also made me think of half-naked female Elves fighting with energy swords!!!!

It's kind of funny cause that's not too far off. This song was inspired by a crazy 1800s action scene in a book I wrote AND that scene was inspired by a bunch of crazy sword fight/kung fu deathmatch battles my brother used to have in an old game called Shadow Warrior. All it needs is the females

I like all the room sound on the drum track. Gives a definite classic vibe. Nice lead melodies. Probably even better when high.

Hey thanks a lot man, that's cool you like the drum sound. I was aiming for this action scene to be set in a foggy & windy forest, so I added a whole load of reverb to try a wide open echoing "drums in the forest" sound.
That high tone is one my favs, it's showing up all over my work now

Wow, that track is amazing man, good work. Hearing stuff like what you did reminds me that I need to get off my ass and start recording some more cool tunes too! But since I'm at work, I shall listen to your tune again, with the elven women fighting in the forest in my mind.

I'm diggin this hot elven chicks fighting in the forest idea, I might just have to adjust the storyline some 
Do it radiohead, just get up and start randomly jamming, you never what good stuff will happen! Just turn on a beat or something, start recording and keep jamming, don't stop for a long long time. A lot of my songs come out of random jam ideas that grow/change/mutate and get pieced together the more I play them.
Thanks again to everyone, I really appreciate all the feedback I never expected anything like this from an instrumental. Maybe I can hold off on the singing a bit longer afterall
