Profire 2626 Users?

Any Profire users out there utilizing external mic preamps? I'm currious if any of the inputs to the 2626 bypass the internal preamps if/when and external mic-pre is connected.

Anyone using external mic pres with their 2626? I've sent several emails off to M-Audio and posted on their website but nothing definitive if and/or how this works.

Yep, I use a Presonus Studio Channel with mine. I just go balanced quarter inch into input 1, and it totally bypasses the internal mic pre.

That's great info...does this work on all inputs or just the two front connections?

Yeah, all the inputs on the back are quarter inch and xlr combo inputs so i'm assuming they act the same as the first 2 on the back which I use.
