Damn dog, you must know him or something??

Know him know him? no... met him?... yes... and after meeting him I drew my conclusion...

There are LOT of producers that I would like to mention (give me a couple of days to make my list). :)

I see that there is one "old-school" producer that has not been mentioned.

That producer is Ced-Gee from the Ultramagnetic MC's.

Ced-Gee was the producer (with the help of engineer Paul C) that helped change the early sound of Hip-Hop.

He was the one to use samples throughout the entire song, he was the one perfecting the structure and transitios of Hip-Hop songs to mimic quote/unqute "real songs".

Earlier in this thread, I read about a reference to Eric B., but it was Ced Gee that was making and selling the beats to most of the groups (Eric B & Rakim, Boogie Down Productions, Public Enemy, Kings of Pressure, Masters of Ceremony, et cetera...)

I also remember reading, earlier in this thread, about Kanye being "....an asshole...."

I would have to agree with the direction of that statement. It seems as if Kanye has become very ARROGANT!!!

I hope that Kanye proactively tries to humble his self being. I would think that after he was in that car accident AND experienced having his mouth wired shut, that he would know how fragile life is.....

I am saying that, to ALL of you, to say this, to ALL of you: ALWAYS REMAIN HUMBLE!!! (no matter how "large" any of you all get).

If you don't remain humble "life" (insert - GOD, the universe, etc...) will make you humble.

If you don't learn your lesson the first time you will have to experience it again and again and again and again and again until you learn the lesson. HOWEVER, each time the lesson will be harder.

Also, remember....

The people you pass going up the ladder you will have to pass coming down the ladder (as you go down the ladder you might need a helping hand to aid your descent).

OK, sorry about going off of track.

Kanye is an awesome producer, lyricist, etc. I remember when he would come over to our studio to learn and collaborate. I remember when he would go over to No-ID's studio to learn and collaborate. I can remember when he would come down to the club trying to get inside [edited by spinsterwun].
I didn't think that he would go/get as far as he has in the industry and/or have the impact he has had on the industry/society, so on that note, I am VERY, VERY proud of him.

I just hope that he learns to HUMBLE himself. :(

Peace...
