The mic belongs to the guitarist my son plays bass in a trio for. He has borrowed it and attached it to his classical guitar and I thought others might like to hear the results? The mic requires phantom power and on that recording it is plugged into a MOTU M4.

The trio use acoustic guitars and a thing called an "Oud" The Prodipe is really a very close tie tack mic for putting acoustic instruments through a PA. They find the tunable mid EQ on an Allen & Heath zed 10 mixer gains several dB of level before the dreaded feedback!

Dave.

Nice sounding. I have an audio technica clip on cardioid that I'd forgotten about and it was always good for this kind of thing. This one does seem to do the job and visually always better than a stand mic plus it stays in the ideal place.
