problems with Sonar 6

Hi!

I downloaded Cakewalk's Sonar 6 trial edition in order to record music straight to my pc. I have a Studio Projects C1 mic and VTB1 mic pre amp. I connected VTB1 to my pc but Sonar doesn't recognize the mic. I have Sigma Tel Audio soundcard. When I speak to my mic I can hear the sound coming from the speakers but I cannot push that record button on Sonar. What's wrong?

It sounds like Sonar is not "seeing" your soundcard. Did you profile the card?

It's not good to double post but you might want to post this in the Cakewalk forum.

Also, Cakewalk has it's own user forum on their website with a ton of Sonar users.
