problems with protools 6.1

ok so we just installed protools 6.1 le on a new g5 with 2 gig of memory. loads up fine, untill we try to make a new session or let it sit for a second. at this point the entire screen goes greyish, and says that you need to restart the computer. it will do it to if we try to open up the mix files we did at black lodge studios too.
and ideas?
any help would be apreciated cause we gotta mix down our ep soon.
 
I believe you need to download the Pt LE 6.2 update in order to run it on the G5. I'd head over to http://www.digidesign.com and check it out.
