Problems With My DS-1

I must admid my Boss DS-1 is a great sounding pedal and allbut every time i swich it on or off the signal cuts off for about half a sec. Its realy annoying and means when im playing seriously i have to have it either on or off for a whole song. Anyone else have the same problem? Anything i can do to fix the problem?

I have a DS-1 and it does not cut out when the switch is pressed. You might have a bad switch. I hope that it is still in warranty.
