Problems getting a response from Roland.....

Anybody had any probs communicating with Roland in Canada? Their website allows you request info by email. I did this a week ago (twice) and still no response. All I wanna know is: Is there a way to burn CD's directly from my VS 840S? It has the SCSI adapter. If there is, can anyone suggest as good burner that would work. I'm new here and any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Roland is notorious for bad customer service, and I have had terrible experiences trying to get them to contact me.

I don't think you can burn a CD from the 840 unless Roland has a CD-R that they say specifically works with it. I know on the 880 you have to have the software update with the CD-R drivers to allow burning, and then it's only for certain CD-R drives. The answer to your question is probably no, but I'm really not sure since I don't keep up with the 840 stuff.

If you have a decent computer with a burner then you can move the audio there and burn. I did it that way even after I got the 880 burner working cause it was much easier.
