problem with sonar4

I just recently started having a problem with sonar4. everything has this warbly tremelo effect on playback. I thought it was just MIDI at first, but it turns out even if i import an mp3 into sonar it plays back with the same problem. this is ONLY in sonar and everything else on my computer plays fine.

I used to have a crappy HD creative soundcard and recently upgrade to an E-MU 0404 (i know i know its still CREATIVE but that atleast rules out the soundcard) It has to be something within sonar. PLEASE HELP!!!!

AlChuck, if you would have taken the time to fully read and comprehend this post you would notice that the problem has changed. I have tried things that would indicate that the problem is within Sonar because it effects ALL audio playback, not just midi. Thus, I asked a more updated question in the Cakewalk forum because this question now pertains to the software and not the midi. I understand the rule about posting the same exact question again and do not wish to waste anyones time. I apologize for not posting my new conclusions on the midi post as well, but i figured i would not expect midi specialists to bother trying to sort out my Sonar woes. (thus, wasting everyones time)

My question STILL stands and I have tried to mute all tracks except the one playing back with no improvement.
I appreciate ALL help including yours, ALCHUCK, and mean no disrespect by my statements, just an explanation for my actions. This forum has been a HUGE help to myself as well as others, and I try my best not to waste anyones time.
 
this problem has been fixed. it was a problem in the audio settings i had to switch it to ASIO mode and adjust the buffer. Thanks for the help guys
