I have a Revox PR99 two track 2 channel tape deck which is in fairly good condition and was recording and playing back fine. Recently I have the following problems:
1. The tape deck lights up but the buttons, except the PLAY button, do not respond.
2. When I press Play button, instead of playing the spool with loaded tape on the left goes into FAST mode and the take-up spool on the right does not rotate.
What has happened and what should I do?
