I am an occasional cakewalk 8 user so please excuse me if this is a dumb question.
I had to reformat my hard disk some time ago. In the process I lost some drivers and finally ended up installing a new sound card to get back up and running. It is a Muse XL card.
Of course I had to reinstall everything else including Cakewalk.
Everything seems to work fine with cakewalk except there is one problem that has me baffled.
When I record audio while listening to the midi tracks, all of the the midi sound is recorded onto the audio track.
This didn't happen before, and I am not sure whether it is a result of the sound card or whether there is something that I have not configured right.
Thanks in advance.
