There must be some discrepancy somewhere if you are getting this error every time you boot Cubase. I would suggest you start over. Uninstall all instances of the FT driver as well as Cubase. Reinstall the latest driver as well as Cubase. I am guessing this will take care of any weirdness that may be going on now. You won't loose anything by doing this other than 30 min of time, and you will at least know that a default setting or corrupt 'whatever' is not to blame. It looks like your setup is correct, but that error means that something is out of order, and I have no clue what it is. Try reinstall and see what happens.
