Problem Loading ASIO Driver

Hello All. I'm a long-time lurker, first-time poster-

All of the sudden, when I load Cubase 3.11 SX, a message pops up proclaiming that the ASIO Driver could not be loaded because it could not be found. Under device setup, it says "No Valid ASIO Driver". My sound card is working. There is no problem in Sonar, so I'm almost entirely sure it is a software issue.

EDIT: Also when I load a session, a screen pops up showing the ASIO inputs and outs - each labeled "pending connection".

EDIT part 2 - I just reinstalled cubase and everything works now.
