Alright.... Here's the deal, this isn't your typical which DAW is best question...
Right now I'm running a firepod with cubase LE, and I love it. I've become very interested in upgrading my cubase to SX 3.0. Right now I'm going to an AE college so I can get an education discount on software for the next three months.
I can get SX for $400 us, and keep using my firepod...
Benifits: Cubase rules.
or I can get M powered for $150 us!!!! and a Audiophile 24/96 for $99 us... (or even less used), and track with my firepod in cubase and mix in protools
Benifits: Inexpensive. I'd become more flexible.
I'm eventually looking to get into the industry, and we're learning pro tools in school so I think having good knowledge of it would definately benifit me.
Should I just sell the fire pod and save for an 002? Ahh soo many choices, what do u guys think?
